I have been an athlete and student of the human body my whole life. In 2005 I received a Kinesiology degree from the University of  Windsor, then a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario and continued with post-graduate studies in Manual Therapy. Around this time I also found Moksha! The Moksha practice quickly became my main source of personal physical therapy to help work with chronic pain issues from years of accumulated injuries. Teaching was a natural next step so that I could share this amazing, healing practice! I am currently certified in Moksha Level 1 and 2, Moksha Flow, and Yin. I absolutely love blending my knowledge of physiotherapy and yoga together. Whether I am facilitating a group class, anatomy workshop or private yoga-therapy session I try to bring my unique perspective, a sense of limitless potential and a sense of humour. I am currently faculty for the Level 1 and 2 Moksha Yoga Trainings where I get to help new yoga teachers learn about functional anatomy, and help experienced teachers refine their observation and analytical skills to better serve their students unique bodies!
In 2015 Eric and I created Moksha Fit and just completed the first Moksha Fit trainings in Ontario in August of 2017! The Moksha Fit you know and love here at MYB is now being launched in many other Moksha and Modo communities and I look forward to seeing how it continues to evolve.
