I have been an athlete and student of the human body my whole life. In 2005 I received a Kinesiology degree from the University of Windsor, then a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario and continued with post-graduate studies in Manual Therapy. Around this time I also found Moksha! The Moksha practice quickly became my main source of personal physical therapy to help work with chronic pain issues from years of accumulated injuries. Teaching was a natural next step so that I could share this amazing, healing practice! I am currently certified in Moksha Level 1 and 2, Moksha Flow, and Yin. I absolutely love blending my knowledge of physiotherapy and yoga together. Whether I am facilitating a group class, anatomy workshop or private yoga-therapy session I try to bring my unique perspective, a sense of limitless potential and a sense of humour.
The pillar I am currently working on is Live to Learn. As I get ready to teach functional anatomy at the next Moksha Level 1 teacher training, I am finding more and more opportunity to dive deeper into new and exciting research in yoga, yoga therapy and physiotherapy!
